The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed in traditional Japanese style. We loved the private terrace where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance. The hot springs were a highlight of our stay, especially the outdoor one that offered breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The onsen baths were clean, hot, and provided the perfect relaxation after a long day of exploring. I loved the natural surroundings of the hotel, being nestled in a forest and hearing the sounds of birds chirping and crickets. The private onsens were a highlight, with a total of 7 to choose from, some even with outdoor views. The location was perfect, just a short walk from both the local train station and the beautiful coast.
The service at reception was a bit slow, although the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Additionally, there was some construction happening during my stay, although it didn't bother me much.

Walking down to the ocean along the river offered spectacular coastline views, a beautiful waterfall, and an exhilarating suspension bridge. The staff's excellent spoken and written English made communication easy. The hotel provided a map in English and was very accommodating regarding meal seating. The private onsens, available round the clock, added to the wonderful experience. We also loved the local ice cream sold at their shop.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the stunning coastline. It's just a short walk away, making it very convenient to enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The service at the hotel is exceptional, with English-speaking staff who are always ready to assist. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. Additionally, the hotel has a range of facilities, including private onsens, which provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
The only downside we experienced was that the futons were a bit thin, making side-sleeping uncomfortable. However, this can easily be remedied by requesting extra mattresses to make it more comfortable.
