We had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel nestled in a serene forest location. The staff here were incredibly friendly and polite, going out of their way to ensure our comfort. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed in traditional Japanese style. We loved the private terrace where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance. The hot springs were a highlight of our stay, especially the outdoor one that offered breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The onsen baths were clean, hot, and provided the perfect relaxation after a long day of exploring. The food served at this hotel was absolutely indescribable, with each dish surpassing our expectations. Every penny spent here was worth it, and we highly recommend this one-of-a-kind venue.

    Highly recommended.

I loved the natural surroundings of the hotel, being nestled in a forest and hearing the sounds of birds chirping and crickets. The private onsens were a highlight, with a total of 7 to choose from, some even with outdoor views. The location was perfect, just a short walk from both the local train station and the beautiful coast.

The service at reception was a bit slow, although the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Additionally, there was some construction happening during my stay, although it didn't bother me much.

Immersing ourselves in the tranquility of the lush green hills surrounding the hotel was truly rejuvenating. We loved exploring the coastal hiking trails and discovering the Teddy Bear Museum nearby. The variety of private onsens offered a delightful relaxation experience, and it was always easy to find one available. One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional kaiseki meal at Hanafubuki, where we savored the freshness of local ingredients with creative touches. The English-speaking staff and menus made everything effortless, ensuring a seamless experience. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway in beautiful natural surroundings.

Hanafubuki was the perfect retreat for us backpackers. The clean and hot onsen baths provided a relaxing experience. The outdoor bath set in the forest was our favorite. Walking down to the ocean along the river offered spectacular coastline views, a beautiful waterfall, and an exhilarating suspension bridge. The staff's excellent spoken and written English made communication easy. The hotel provided a map in English and was very accommodating regarding meal seating. The private onsens, available round the clock, added to the wonderful experience. We also loved the local ice cream sold at their shop.

We felt so at home at Hanafubuki that we had no complaints whatsoever.

The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the stunning coastline. It's just a short walk away, making it very convenient to enjoy the beautiful ocean views. The rooms are comfortable and well-maintained, providing a cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The service at the hotel is exceptional, with English-speaking staff who are always ready to assist. The breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. Additionally, the hotel has a range of facilities, including private onsens, which provide a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

The only downside we experienced was that the futons were a bit thin, making side-sleeping uncomfortable. However, this can easily be remedied by requesting extra mattresses to make it more comfortable.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. I also appreciated that breakfast was included, allowing me to start each day on a delicious note.

Honestly, I couldn't find a single thing to fault about this hotel.
